Wedding Photography A wedding is one of the most memorable days in the lives of a couple. It is a day that will never be forgotten by you or the attendees to the ceremony and this is why regular pictures just won’t cut it. Wedding photography is a very specialized type of photography. A full wedding photography session package involves taking photographs of pre-wedding ceremony events, the wedding ceremony, and reception including all guests and participants. Wedding photography is very dynamic and involves more than simply snapping a few pictures. Only the highest quality and most original photographs are selected. Hundreds of photographs are taken in order to capture the most important moments. These moments are usually those that are of the bride and groom, the rest of the wedding party, and the family members. I take lots of candid shots as well, such as guests goofing around, the little girl dancing on her father’s feet, and if it happens, the bride smashing that cake into the face of her husband. These are many times the most treasured photographs from the entire wedding ceremony. Besides photographing people, I snap pictures of inanimate objects such as the chapel or venue’s architecture, the cake, the bride’s gown, and of course, the rings. Brides might want to consider a truly unique and memorable post-wedding photography session called the “Trash the Dress” session after the wedding ceremony is over, and all-important pictures have been taken with the dress. This usually involves the bride wearing her dress in unusual or even dirty environments and me photographing it. A bride might choose to have her photograph taken while frolicking down the street with boots on and a cowgirl hat, working on a greasy tractor at the farm, or simply just laying in a field. The options are endless and I am completely open to suggestions that will speak to the bride’s true character.
