Founded by musician and bandleader Sy Laskin and his wife Lillian, L & S Entertainment has brought the best in live and DJ entertainment to the tri-state area for over the past 35 years.

Currently owned and operated by two of the most respected musicians and businessmen in the industry, Joe Carbone & Jerry Nobile, L & S Entertainment is affiliated and recommended by some of New York's most prestigious restaurants, hotels, and catering venues.

Joe Carbone is a guitarist and bandleader with over 40 years’ experience. While Joe has entertained at thousands of weddings corporate events, fundraisers and many other private events, he is one of the most sought after jazz virtuoso guitar players in New York. Joe has performed throughout his career with such well-known stars in our business such as Sammy Davis Jr., Ben Vareen, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, & comedian Pat Cooper, just to name a few.  Joe also has a very distinguished background as a vocal accompanist and music educator.

Jerry Nobile began his career working for L & S Entertainment in 1983 as a drummer, DJ and MC, and a bandleader. Jerry has assisted in the growth of L & S Entertainment to the company that it is today.  Jerry is very much a hands-on person that gets involved with every client’s event to review and discuss details and to make sure that everything expected of L & S is achievable and adhered to. Jerry is currently the band leader of "Moonstruck" one of L & S Entertainments busiest and most requested party bands. Jerry also has an impeccable reputation as a music educator and recording session drummer.
