Captain Davis, a Merchant Marine, wedding officiant, and co-founder of Nautical Star Weddings has steered ships for over 20 years in the New York and New Jersey harbor. He was awarded a medal from the US Department of Transportation for being a first responder for the 9/11 disaster.

In the early 1990’s Captain Davis began studying under a wonderful reverend and mentor to become an officiant and minister. After 2 years of study and introspection, he completed his obligations to begin officiating services.
